Our gospel reading for today might sound familiar. Jesus is speaking to a large, diverse crowd and begins naming their lived realities. As we are encouraged to subdivide and categorize each other, Jesus is attempting to bring the people together. Can we hear our name in the crowd? Can we see the suffering of our neighbor?
